Hi, I'm Zaki.
I'm a business student at Cal State San Marcos and I live right here in Escondido. I've been setting up smart homes for friends and family for years, switching between every ecosystem out there, so I started Wrapt to do it for everyone else.
When I set up your home, I treat it like my own: clean installs, routines built around how you actually live, and a walkthrough until it feels easy. If something stops working, you call me, not a hotline.
FAQ
Common questions
Which smart home system should I pick?
If you already use an iPhone, Apple Home is often the smoothest. If you want the most device options and the lowest price, Alexa or Google Home are great choices. We'll help you pick on the call. Since we use Matter devices, you can switch later without replacing everything.
What happens if my Wi-Fi goes down?
Your wall switches always work, so you're never stuck in the dark. Standard Wi-Fi bulbs can't be controlled by app or voice until the Wi-Fi is back. If you want lights that keep working through outages, ask about the Philips Hue upgrade and the router battery backup.
Do I need to buy anything before you come?
No. Every package includes the devices. If you already own devices, our Setup Only option connects what you have.
I rent. Can I still do this?
Yes. Smart bulbs, plugs, speakers, and battery-powered doorbells don't require any wiring and come with you when you move. We'll keep the setup renter-friendly.
Do you do electrical wiring?
No. We don't do hardwired electrical work like new outlets, switches, or EV chargers. If your project needs it, we'll point you to a licensed electrician.
How long does an install take?
Most installs take one visit: about 1.5 hours for Starter, 2.5 to 3 hours for Comfort, and 4 to 5 hours for Wrapt Complete.
